DOMICILIARY CARE PMA WORKING GROUP

The Para Medical Aide (PMA) Working Group is underway. This is the first step in securing extra hours for PMA members. The purpose of this group is to determine a fair and equitable way of allocating extra hours to PMA workers.

This is a significant win for members and credit for this outcome rests solely with the PSA members who put in the extra effort to attend out of hours meetings and who determined to take action!

Well done again!

The committee is made up of the following people:

PSA Worksite Representatives: Robyn Colhoun and Danny McCormick
Staff Representatives: Bernie Pryzbyliski and Amanda Brodie
Personal Support Coordinators: Avis Neal and Jenny Maxwell
Client Services Manager Christopher Millington and Jodi Smith
Human Resource Consultant Paul Saffi
Public Service Association (PSA) Industrial Officer

Domiciliary Care SA (DCSA) has identified extra hours and created the new Relief Roster Position. More information will be circulated throughout this process and members feedback is essential. Please ensure that your feedback is directed to PSA Worksite Representatives, Staff Representatives or other members of the Working Group.

Through DCSA's cascading communication, members will be asked to provide feedback on a number of points such as working across sites, filling shifts in Metropolitan Access Team, backfilling Key Contacts and out of hours work. More information will be provided as it is available. It is essential that members provide feedback to their Worksite Representatives or Personal Support Coordinators.

If you have any questions, concerns or would like an update at your worksite please contact PSA Worksite Representatives or PSA Industrial Officer Jean-Guy Townsend on 8205 3233 or jgt@cpsu.asn.au
