PSA members should be aware that the AEU has announced rolling stoppages commencing on Monday 4^th August 2008 as part of a campaign for better Enterprise Bargaining outcomes for school staff. The PSA has also rejected the Government's offer as it does not address issues put forward in the PSA claim or provide for an appropriate wage increase.

The PSA supports the industrial action and encourages PSA members to participate in the stoppages. PSA members who elect not to participate in the stoppages should support the action by not crossing picket lines or undertaking duties that would normally be performed by staff participating in the action.

The PSA will be holding meetings in Metropolitan areas shortly to update members on Enterprise Bargaining and other issues.
