SA PATHOLOGY COMMENCES CONSULTATION MEETINGS FOR CONSOLIDATION OF TESTS AND PLATFORMS
The Public Services Association has been advised of a series of staff meetings to be held across the new Directorate within SA Pathology (SAP) this week. PSA members would be aware of the SA Pathology Functional Advisory Groups for each Directorate that commenced in 2007, as part of the process in the establishment the new organisational structure for SA Pathology. These groups within the new Directorates continued meeting and have now identified a number of opportunities for consolidation and improvements in relation to specific tests and platforms. Details are here. When possible the PSA is sending an Industrial Officer to these staff meetings, which are being held simultaneously across SA Pathology work sites. If PSA members have any concerns please contact PSA Industrial Officer Sue Cummins via the email address below. The PSA understands the agreed HR Principles are available on the SA Pathology intranet site and staff are encouraged to again read them as to the process if there are proposed changes to work locations and quarantining of positions in the new organisational structure. The PSA continues to welcome feedback from members regarding the impact on members of changes within SAPS.
