SHARED SERVICES BANS STAY ON
PSA members at the meeting held on Monday 17 November 2008, unanimously endorsed the Status Quo bans implemented on the evening of Wednesday 12 November 2008 and resolved for these bans to continue; “This meeting notes that in the Compulsory Conference in the IRC on Wednesday 12 November 2008
Not participate in the transfer of any equipment, files, etc. Not provide any information to assist in the transfer Not attend any pre-transition meetings Not relocate Will not participate or cooperate in the training of Shared Services SA payroll trainees until this matter is resolved There will be no release of any files or equipment from existing work sites to Shared Services SA
This meeting was scheduled for 12.30pm. Shortly after midday, the PSA received the following letter instead of the written response that was expected following the Compulsory Conference in the Industrial Commission in the matter of the South Australian Government (Department of Health) V's PSA

Jan McMahon Dear Ms McMahon RE: Matter 6259/2008 I note that you have a meeting of members at 12.30pm today. I am advised the the Under Treasurer is not presently available to write to you. I can advise that consideration is being given to the matters discussed with Commissioner McMahon and you will be further advised at the earliest opportunity. In the interim, the PSA is requested to remove all bans and limitations in accordance with Commissioner McMahon's recommendations of 7 November 2008.
