On  Wednesday, 11 March 2009 the Shared Services SA Workforce Consultative Group meeting was held.

Damian Bourke provided a report on the following key issues,

The Transition of the Tranche 1 services was completed in February 2009, with the last of SA Health employees relocating to Shared Services.

SSSA will now commence work on the Tranche 2 activities that will predominantly focus on the areas of Finance and ICT.

Tranche 2 will comprise:

    Purchase Cards
Financial and Accounting Services from those Agencies using the Masterpiece                 financial application.

SA Health uses a different application and will not form part of Tranche 2 for this reason. Their services will transition at a later date.

Contract Services and State Procurement and Support Operations (SPSO ) ICT,
which are already in Department of Treasury and Finance, will also be moved internally to Shared Services SA as part of the Tranche 2 transition.

It is proposed that non health Government ICT Services join Shared Services in the middle of 2009.

It was agreed at the meeting to shortly revisit the structure of the Workforce Consultative Group.
