YOUTH JUSTICE REFORM IN COUNTRY REGION
The Families SA Worksite Representatives Committee for the Country Youth Justice Reform met on Thursday 30 July 2009. The Public Service Association (PSA) was represented by Vanessa Ravenhill, Industrial Officer and the Worksite Representatives from all affected worksites in Families SA Country region were connected via teleconference. The Country Region Transition Process, Operational Procedure No. 1: Transition Assessment Process, Modified Selection Process and an updated Position Description for Case Manager OPS 4 (change in format only) were tabled for discussion. The PSA was advised that the proposed implementation date is 1 September 2009. The Panel for the assessment and selection processes is Gayle Gogel, Melissa Stokes and Kitty McLean. The information package with all processes was posted on the team site by late afternoon on Thursday 30 July 2009. All staff in temporary contract positions are eligible to apply for any remaining vacant positions by registering an Expression of Interest, as outlined in the Human Resources Transition Principles and Operational Processes. The PSA would like to acknowledge the hard work and tireless efforts of the following Worksite Representatives; Paul Barton, John Goldsworthy, Scott McFeeters, Jill Rowley, Sharon Schroeter, Neil Sercombe, Hugh Van Baar, and Sue Yang.
