News Flash

The Education Arbitration case commenced on Monday 3rd August where opening submissions by the AEU were heard.  During the week beginning Monday 10th August, Officers of the Full Bench, PSA, AEU, DECS and the Government attended school inspections.  The inspections were undertaken to provide a context for the witness statements about the school environments to the Commission.

Schools visited included:

Stuart High school – Whyalla
Amata
Elizabeth Special School
Smithfield Plains High School
Davoren Park Schools
Hamilton Secondary College
Marryatville High School
Ross Smith Secondary School
Walkerville Primary School

The hearing is continuing in the Industrial Commission this week commencing with cross examination of AEU witnesses.
