CRISIS RESPONSE UNIT TAKES INDUSTRIAL ACTION UPDATE

Public Service Association (PSA) members at Elizabeth District Centre (DC) met on Monday 23 November 2009 to consider the response received from the department on 17 November concerning the members' industrial action and passed the following motion:

"This meeting of PSA members employed at Elizabeth District Centre agrees to suspend the industrial bans on the implementation of C3MS, imposed on 22 October 2009, providing there is appropriate consultation between members and the department, including involvement in working groups formed to resolve outstanding issues and the specific issues raised concerning cases recorded on CIS and C3MS, raised at the meeting with Families SA Executive on 18 November 2009 to discuss recommencement of rollout to Elizabeth DC at the end of Metropolitan / State rollout, are resolved as a matter of urgency.

Members will reconsider this action should there be an unacceptable increase in workload or adverse effects on the health and welfare of members once implementation ( re)commences."

Meetings of members will continue to occur in worksites where C3MS has been implemented and other worksites that are not using C3MS to provide updates to all members.
