UNREASONABLE WORKLOADS ARE UNACCEPTABLE

On Tuesday, 1st December, Shared Services Payroll members who are located at Wakefield House participated in a stop work meeting.

Members unanimously supported the following motion:

"This meeting of Shared Services members determines to no longer tolerate unreasonable workloads.

Members demand that Shared Services Management, as a matter of urgency, provide adequate resources to ensure a safe and healthy working environment as required under Clause 11.4 of the South Australian Government Wages Parity (Salaried) Enterprise Agreement 2006.

PSA members determine to meet again on Wednesday 9 December 2009 to consider further action if required."

The PSA is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all of its members in Shared Services.

It is unacceptable that members are continually exposed to unreasonable demands, when clearly adequate resourcing has not been provided by the employer.

The PSA will keep members updated on progress. Please feel free to contact PSA Senior Industrial Officer Dolly Costello on 8205 3244 or email dlc@cpsu.asn.au to provide any feedback you may have.

WIN TOGETHER!
