UNREASONABLE WORKLOADS PAYROLL SERVICES
Shared Services Payroll Team members are continuing to experience unreasonable workloads. On 3 December 2009, Shared Services wrote to the PSA in response to concerns raised by members on Tuesday 1 December 2009 at a Stop Work meeting. Earlier today, members met to discuss Management's response to concerns raised. The meeting passed the following motion: "This meeting of Shared Services members notes the letter from the Executive Director Shared Services dated 3 December 2009. Members refute the statement that the Southern Adelaide Health Service Team is the only Payroll Team to identify specific workload issues. PSA members determine to commence an industrial campaign effective immediately. As of 10am, members will work to rule. PSA members call upon Shared Services Management to provide a safe and healthy work environment, with a particular focus on reasonable workloads." The PSA is committed to ensuring all members have a reasonable workload. It is unacceptable that Payroll members within Shared Services are continually exposed to an unsafe work environment, despite numerous requests from staff to have matters of concern addressed. The PSA will also investigate reports of unlawful intimidation of PSA members. The PSA will keep all members informed of progress. PSA
