Further to the Public Service Association's (PSA) Brief of 12 March 2010, another Voluntary Conference was held in the Industrial Relations Commission of South Australia (IRCSA) on Tuesday 30 March 2010. This conference was attended by representatives from Gilles Plains, Salisbury and Daw Park Regional Offices and PSA Industrial Officer Sue Cummins.

This hearing was to give an opportunity for the Department for Families & Communities (DFC) to give a report back on the matters in front of Commissioner McMahon. This was in the form of a table. Out of the hearing Commissioner McMahon made a statement and the recommendations are:

• That the Department will schedule to meet Ms Cummins from the PSA with one other representative to report and consult on the issues contained within the above document.

• That the discussions proposed between the Department and the Union will be limited to those contained in the above document.

• That a report back meeting will be scheduled for 11 May 2010 at 9.30 am in the IRCSA.
