The PSA has been advised that the Protective Clothing Allowance payable to eligible employees has been set at $ 125.00 for the 2010 school year.

This generally applies to SSOs employed in Laboratory Assistant roles and required to use protective clothing.

If you have already received this allowance for the 2010 school year, an automatic adjustment should be made by the Pay Office in the near future. If you are an eligible employee please ensure that the difference is forwarded on to you.

For those eligible employees yet to receive their allowance for 2010, please ensure that the updated amount is received.
