FULL INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COURT HEARS PSA'S CASE
TEMPORARY INJUNCTION CONTINUES

The Full Court of the Industrial Relations Court today heard the PSA's Application regarding the current metropolitan hospital car parking Dispute.

The PSA's legal counsel clearly put the case that the current Parity Enterprise Agreement protects existing conditions, and that the introduction/variation of car parking fees for workers was contrary to the provisions of the Agreement.

Prior to today's Hearing the Court had granted a temporary injunction stopping the new arrangements, pending the Full Court Hearing.  This remains until a decision is handed down.

The PSA will immediately write to the Chief Executive, Department of Health, Mr Swan advising that the temporary injunction continues.

The case has concluded now, and the Bench will consider its decision, to be handed down at a future date.
