On Monday 28th November 2005, the Industrial Relations Commission increased the On-Call Allowances contained within the SA Government (Public Sector Salaried Employees) Arbitrated Enterprise Bargaining Award 2004.

The allowances will be increased by a total of 7% over the period of the Award.

Increases will be as follows:

1.     For employees who are rostered to be on-call of a night time, the allowance for each night will be:

        (a)     $12.10 on and from lst October 2004
        (b)     $12.50 on and from lst October 2005

2.     For employees who are rostered to be on-call during a full Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or any day that the employee would normally be rostered off duty, the allowance per day will be:

        (a)     $24.10 on and from lst October, 2004 and
        (b)     $24.90 on and from lst October, 2005
