PSA SOCIAL WORK INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE

NOTICE OF MEETING

The objective of this industrial committee is to further the salaries, status and conditions of the PSA members.

This is to be achieved both within and outside of the Enterprise Bargaining process.

The PSA has been negotiating with Government to improve career progression through using and changing the classification system and criteria.

The Government has accepted PSA's submissions that the current classification criteria is out of date and is committed to working with the PSA to improve the system including the use of competencies.

A key role of this industrial committee will be to assist in developing new criteria and PIDs.
