PSA MEMBERSHIP - ALL THE BENEFITS AT NO COST

There are countless reasons to be a member of the PSA, the largest public sector union in South Australia which protects and campaigns for improved wages and conditions of employment on behalf of members.

Now, the PSA is offering members something more. With so many increasing costs, finding extra money can be difficult, but the PSA is offering a way for members to make their PSA membership cost neutral. Members can now purchase Coles Cards and Woolworths Wish Gift Cards at a 5% discount.

Use your membership card to your advantage and your PSA membership costs you nothing.

Everybody has to buy the essentials like groceries and petrol. If you use your discount card, on a weekly budget of $200 groceries and $50 petrol, this can work out to savings of $12.50 a week, or $650 a year.

Such a saving is more than the current maximum union subscription. So, your membership fees have already been paid for! All the Industrial benefits, Journey Accident Cover, Legal Services Scheme, Training and other Ambassador discounts are bonuses. Union membership is also a tax deduction.

These cards can be used throughout SA and interstate, benefiting regional and metropolitan based members. Pending improved distribution arrangements, and so as not to delay benefits to members, city based members need to purchase and collect Cards from the PSA office. All other members need to contact the PSA for alternative interim arrangements. To ensure availability it is advisable to email or phone the PSA beforehand, email kmb@cpsu.asn.auor ph: 8205 3255. This benefit is available to PSA members only, so your membership card will need to be presented. Cards are in denominations of $100, $200 and $500. Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

Arrangements are being examined to provide Cards to PSA members at key locations in the near future. An initial supply of cards is being held at PSA to assess the demand.

Coles Cards can be used at any Coles Supermarket. Woolworths Wish Gift Cards can be used at Woolworths, Big W, Dick Smith, Tandy, BWS, Dan Murphy, Woolworths Liquor, Caltex Woolworths (on top of 4c/litre vouchers).
